I know Danny Glover and Mel Gibson are getting old, but damnit I want one more movie in the series. We got one more Die Hard movie, a Rocky movie, and we're getting another Rambo movie soon. Hell even Arnold bulked up to play the Terminator one more time.
C'mon Hollywood, make it happen!

I think Terminator 3 was Arnold's swan song for that series.

They should remake it as a torture porn.

After seeing die hard and rocky I think that a new one could be done well with the right story.

I thought 3 was very poor, but I did enjoy 4. Martin Riggs would be about the only way Mel could be enjoyable again.

No we do not!
Rocky and Rambo are just Stallone paying with his money.
I'm so sick of people who act like Terminator is a franchise. T2 was the only good one.
Die Hard 4 was well worth it, and I'll see Indy 4, but that's all for those 10-20 year later sequels.

You really think Mel Gibson can play crazy?

One of the Saw movies.
Lethal Weapon 4 was pretty good, I thought.

Yea but The last Rocky movie was GREAT and Rambo looks fantastic as well. Just goes to show that Over the Hill doesn't have to mean over and done with.

You really think Mel Gibson can play crazy? They could just recycle the script from the second one and replace the South American Embassy with the Israeli one.

Yes.

I watched it last night and enjoyed it quite a bit. Sure, it's not the Godfather, but it's a fun action movie with a lot of energy. I give it a B-

Mel Gibson will probably never act again in something he's not financing personally.
He's gone back into hiding ever since he stopped promoting Apocalypto

S'funny, I really liked T2 when it came out, but I could never quite get past the fact that it amounted to a remake of the first - only more heartwarming, less brutal, and obviously more big budget. I still love T2, but the original's still the king for me.

Oh, and the only good Lethal Weapon was the first one, which was legitimately great, essentially the culmination of all buddy cop movies ever.
The second one was pure stank.

Yeah, that I could get behind.
I want to see the Feral Kid again, leader of the "Great Northern Tribes", or however the last few lines of Road Warrior went. I know he never saw Max again, but I'd still like to see him make his way into the story somehow. Or the gyrocoptor pilot.
Honestly, Road Warrior being such an essential post-apocalyptic movie and so influential on games like Fallout, it could make for a pretty cool franchise - even without Max. Maybe George Miller can fall back on it after his JLA movie flops.
they should make lethal weapon 4, but without Danny Glover and Mel Gibson.

Do people actually like #2? It's been years since I've seen it, so maybe the banter at least's still good, but isn't that the one with the the racist South African drug dudes? Who're not only racist scumbags, but ALSO killed Riggs' wife way back when, ALSO end up killing the whole police department of fun supporting characters, and ALSO kills Riggs' new girlfriend?
I think that was actually the movie where I realized how pathetically nihilistic writers could get when they need to get the hero motivated for revenge. I think they were one step from having the bad guys bomb an animal shelter.

I'd be up for another Loaded Weapon movie.
