Just read Mighty Avengers #6 preview copy, in stores next week. It was 100% worth the wait.

The art is there and the story is there and I have no complaints. Though the release schedule was not ideal, the complete arc when read at one time is high energy and action packed. The thought balloons do add an element of being directly inside the character's true thoughts. I approve and I encourage those on the fence about Mighty Avengers to get off it and jump on in.

We had a really rough day here today with the shipment not arriving to us until after 2pm, but a double shot of New Avengers and Mighty Avengers preview copy has made everything better.

Please keep content spoilers hidden behind tags.

I just hope they beat Ultron b/c I hear the symbiotes are next! I love Bendis and I know Cho has already taken responsibility for this, but this was a pretty egregious scheduling fuck up, given the attempt to intertwine with NA. It shouldn't have been allowed to happen this way.

Not to mention what's happening in Annihilation...

Bendis gets this too often. We need more people who will stick to their guns and tell him things suck even AFTER they read it.

Even still, with this releasing next week, I'm hoping that we get Mighty Avengers #7 in December too. Can't remember what Marvel said about when that one releases.

You say that now, but six months from now, you'll be all like, "Bendis was right! "YAY" indeed!"

I was excited about something so I put it out there. You don't like it, you're not excited, just keep on truckin'.

I would do it if warranted here. I was prepared to be underwhelmed because I just haven't been feeling the Mighty Avengers the way I have the New Avengers and I wasn't underwhelmed. Mighty works in a different way that other Bendis titles and now I'm finally warmed up to the feel of the book.

I'm still not 100% sold on the thought balloons, but I still dig Mighty Avengers a LOT.

I'm really excited about this, I've really loved MA so far. I'm pumped about getting about three issues of it within about four weeks!

Hey Lord Jermaine, are there any Skrull hints in No. 6? Just a yes or no answer will do.

In my experience, you only over-hype good stuff.

I know that not everyone can read everything. Comics are expensive, time is in short supply. To me though, part of my job is to let people know when something good is going on in comics. By my standards as someone who has read comics since the mid-80s and has sold them since the late 90s. That's how I work. People who really know me, know that. I try to keep it positive though so if something isn't so hot to men I probably won't say anything unless asked a direct question by someone who wants my opinion.

I know that not everyone reads Mighty Avengers though so I hope that people will hop onto the 1-6 collection and grab the #7 when it hits because it does indeed deliver the goods and services.

There is an elephant in the room in the issue, but I honestly cannot say what it is or what it means. Could be a Skrull thing or it may not be at all. So my answer is that I don't know.

From issue to issue the balloons where a little strange, but as a complete arc I think they added a fresh element to the storytelling using a writing device that fell by the wayside as the vehicle.

Gotcha. Thanks! That's kind of what I figured - pretty much from here on out every Avengers book will have a little something about the Skrulls, or at least something that makes you paranoid about them. Can't wait for this!

I hate them actually. They've actually become a complete distraction in the book.
