It was quite a frightening blast from the past when I came across this picture a little while ago. The first, murderous Hulk from the Incredible Hulk TV show...

For the uninitiated, he's the one in the blue shirt. Those crazy eyes of his absolutely terrified me as a child. Seriously, even now, I think he's pretty creepy lookin'. Thank God Ferrigno Hulk was triumphant in this epic battle of behemoths. :)

He kind of looks like a lo budget (and hulked out) version of that guy who was clint eastwood's sidekick in those movies with the orangutan.

Yeah, he scared me too. Then when I saw it as an adult I wondered what was scary abou him. Same goes for most things that scared me as a kid.
I'd watch the show, and then go to sleep worried that the Hulk was hiding behind my bed. :mistrust::Oops:

That series was great. It never scared me as a kid, I just thought it was cool and Lou/Hulk did beat him.

When I was like 2 years old, I wanted to watch The Hulk every time it was on, but hid behind the couch when he actually showed up because he was scary. :)
Thinking about it, the show also depressed the hell out of me. That closing theme music . . . damn!

I remember that episode.
The funniest part of that show was how terrible David Banner was at thinking up aliases. He always used names like Daniel Bannerman or David Bannister. Way to keep a low profile douchebag.

I saw that on Sci-Fi not to long ago... The plot was lame but that guy is a bit creepy.

Hey, the guy had to change his name every week. For a man who already was having a constant identity crisis, he was probably scared he would forget his real name.

Speaking of Hulk, the intro to the old 80s Hulk cartoon scared the bejeezus out of me as a kid. I loved the cartoon, but the intro scared me. I would hide behind the couch every time I watched it. For those that have never seen it...
