All I gotta say is hot damn!!! It'd better not be a website exclusive! I've only ever purchased two FS before, but with this, I'd definitely be adding a third and I don't want to pay out the ass if it's website only!!! Stupid border!! :p

That's pretty cool. I clicked on the link and see he also has a Simon Garth and Abomination full size statue in the works. I'm not familiar with the Death character though, is that a Marvel Universe character?

I think he did... once. :lol: I think there's a single post or two from him in one of the threads on here somewhere, right after the board was originally put up. There's WAY more traffic over there on that board unfortunately. I do post there, but spend more time over at these boards.

I hadn't seen the Death thread over there! I must not have been visiting as regularly as I thought. That version of Death is a Marvel Universe Character yes. She usually appears alongside Thanos or whenever Thanos is about anyway. She played a fairly large role in The Infinity Gauntlet, as Thanos killed half the world to try and please her and win her favour. She's also seen on the cover of the Graphic Novel in which the original Captain Marvel dies (can't remember the issue #). She was lastly seen (I believe) in the first Annihilation Mini. She's basically just the embodiment of Death for the Marvel Universe. She doesn't play an active role or anything (like chasing people down), she usually just with Thanos or kinda like The Watcher, at big events, usually where there's... well... death involved. :lol:

I loved the first sketch and the third sketch. Hopefully he kind of mixes the two together to come up with a perfect statue (yes, it would be another one I'd purchase!!)

Gotta admit, I'm not a huge fan of the Faux Bronze statues. They just don't appeal to mea. Although I know there's a pretty dedicated audience out there for them!

Your version, while different, still works though from the context of it being the Odin from the Marvel Universe...heck, they may just outright steal your design.

How is working with Marvel? It sounds like you aren't just free to do anything, that they monitor their properties very closely.

I have ordered the regular ODin! It is a must have! Which makes the Bronze Odin more then a must. It has become a fundamental need! :D

When the painted version of Odin was first posted I simply couldn't believe my eyes! But then they went and posted pictures of the faux bronze and now I am so freakin' torn. To this point all of my busts and statues are painted/chromed but that faux bronze statue has me thinking it will be my first. I'm thinking of putting Odin on one end of my new fireplace mantle with Thor on the other end and Loki sitting and scheming between them. Problem is I only have the painted version of Thor and Loki doesn't seem to be available in faux bronze.

I know what you mean, I ordered the painted version and now I'll have to work overtime to pay for the bronze edition.

Great question and I think that Randy originally was going to sell this under his own banner but marvel killed that idea. Randy wouldn't set an edition size until he saw what the order numbers looked like. Once that been done he'll set a size so I'm thinking 1.5k will be set for us fans.

By the way, Merrik, fans of Deadpool will know that he "died" a few times during his run and every time he did he had an affair with Death. It was pretty funny. My problem with Deadpool is that he is my favorite current character and I can't understand why the writers had to turn him into some kinda joke. As a serious character, he had some serious battles with the likes of Wolverine and defeated both Taskmaster and Bullseye.
