I'd probably choose Carlin, but Steve in his prime was way the fuck up there.

Well, Carlin is a giant. But what I like about Martin is that he's not afraid to make jokes that people won't get. Like when he acts pompous in interviews, there's going to be people that don't understand what he's doing and will think that he's a complete asshole.

Say FLAH?

There are folk that think this way?

Wait.

That doesn't surprise me.

FickleDeeFucks

Buh?

I guess I shouldn't be surprised there are people like that. Me, I'm not even a big Gaiman fan these days, but I hope the movie kicks all kinds of ass.

I noticed it when Stardust wasn't a smash hit. A lot of passive-aggressive comments and some people on the internet were saying that if he failed he could damage the chances of other comic writers trying to make the jump. Silly shit like that.

I made this thing for Matt. I'm thinking of putting it on a t-shirt, or maybe a poster.

http://homepage.mac.com/aalgar/pics/misc/1000ninjas.jpg

Quick bonk: When we began doing our critically acclaimed webcomic, Menace of the Intermen, Matt's very first script called for "1000 ninjas." It's become something of a running joke throughout the strip since then.

i refuse to count, but that doesn't look like more than maybe a couple hundred ninjas.

So don't. Thankfully, I get to skip Thanksgiving for work, and family events for Christmas will be cut short, again because of work. Now I just need an excuse not to go to church on Christmas Eve.

I've been trying to politely weasel out. But mom is a problem-solver. Any time I come up with what I think is a good excuse, she "fixes" it. :x

I'm gonna post a thread, but I want to hear you guys' opinions (if applicable) specifically.

I've seen the first two seasons of Six Feet Under, but kinda lost interest in seeing the rest after a while, since I had other things occupying me. Now I'm getting interested again. Worth it?

Damn it JMS' Thor is fantastic. Just finished the fourth issue and even though it's slow to come out I can't imagine it without Coipel's art. I wasn't sure I'd care for it before it came out but I gave the first one a shot and each issue gets better and better. JMS is really hit and miss for me too but this is his best stuff since Rising Stars to me.

I didn't get much out of Six Feet Under. I thought it spun its wheels and gazed at its navel and acted important. The gay brother was always falling into the same problems, the redhead girl kept doing stupid shit and sulking, Nate never said what he wanted, the Mom was always sad her kids were growing away from her, blah blah blah.

That said, the last few minutes of the finale were very very moving.

I meant, there's no letters column because it's not printed. You could go to the website and make a comment, I guess. But it's moving soon and all the comments are going away.

I could, but; 1) I don't know enough about board politics and don't know who you're talking about. 2) That kind of talk always brings out people who don't get the joke and start complaining about the mods. Example: The Blandy Nooooooo thread.

It's not one of my favorites (probably for the Martin Short factor; I loathe him), but it was pretty well-regarded. And it has some good quotable lines.

It's certainly no Jerk, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, Man with Two Brains or Fletch, Vacation or Caddyshack.

Quick bonk: When we began doing our critically acclaimed webcomic, Menace of the Intermen, Matt's very first script called for "1000 ninjas." It's become something of a running joke throughout the strip since then.

I did break down once recently and try the BK Stacker, since I had a buy one get one free coupon. I figured with it basically being a bacon cheeseburger, they couldn't possibly mess it up too badly.

They got the order right (a miracle) but the burgers themselves were horrible.

I'd have to say one thing, though. If his unit moves around a lot, an OHC might not be very practical, just because it takes up more space and then of course would make it more of a bitch to pack up. If he pretty much stays in one spot, though, then :thumb:.
