I think it's still coming out. Of course, I'm sure those Weinstein Company assholes won't release a high-def edition, forcing us to buy it AGAIN down the road.

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair Probably Not Coming in November

A handful of sources around the net this week are reporting that the Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair combined DVD set may finally see the light of day this November. We all know Tarantino has been talking about this for a few years now, and considering the lack of extras on the current DVD releases of both Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, I’m sure a lot of people have been holding off on buying them until this ultimate package hits stores.

Here’s the thing: I believe the rumour about this release started because someone over at The Digital Bits noticed that Amazon had a release date of November 6th, 2007 for Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. It also is listed as a 4-disc set with a running time of 247 minutes. The problem is that a lot of these online retailers are known for filling in their own release dates until an official one is announced, just so they can accept pre-orders on it. If you look at the availability on Amazon, it currently says, “We will e-mail you when this title becomes available.”, which pretty much means it doesn’t exist yet. As it stands right now, I am guessing that this isn’t true, although I certainly would love to find out that it is. We did hear Tarantino say that he wanted to re-release it theatrically first, although after the huge disappointment of Grindhouse, you have to wonder if the Weinsteins would risk putting a 247 minute movie in theatres (that’s over 4 hours!!!). We’ll keep you in the loop if we hear anything more about this highly anticipated release.

It is not out yet and there's no release date that's been announced for it.
