Check it out, we were just named one of the New York Press' Best of 2007:

http://nypress.com/20/43//bestentertainment3.cfm

"BEST PLACE TO FIND A MISUNDERSTOOD COMIC BOOK ARTIST:
The three fanboy pundits who host the weekly Comic Book Club—Alexander Zalben, Justin Tyler and Pete LePage—have stumbled on something that seems to have been lacking for the city’s comic book-obsessed. Every Tuesday at 8 p.m., they gather with comedians and industry professionals to dissect the latest promotional materials and the origin myths of various superheroes. Add to that quirky musical guests and you have the reigning kings of geekdom holding court for the masses."

Why not come out this week as we hold court?

See you Tuesday,
Justin, Pete & Alex

You need to hand out spoiler ear-muffs for audience members waiting for the trades on your week in comics discussion. Please glue little Captain America wings to said ear-muffs.

congrats!

is there one that's not geared towards the superhero/sci-fi/action aspect of the medium?

@Jefuk: That's an amazing idea... If we can get an earmuff company to sponsor us, we'll get on that ASAP.

@Jacob: Thank you! And normally, we do focus the main discussion on "mainstream" comics, just because the majority of the audience has read them. However, if there's something we love that came out that may not be Men in Tights, we definitely try to to talk about it. And there's a whole audience questions section, where we can talk about whatever you guys want us to talk about :)
