I think it's pretty obvious Geoff has found HIS artist for this book now, in that Bendis-Bagley, Loeb-Sale kinda way.

I hope it lasts a long time.

This was awesome. I dropped Action with the Last Son delays. But I had specifically been looking forward to this issue to pick it up again.

I don't really know much about the Legion, but I'll be looking to read more about them and I'll look for some trades.

But about this issue, I mean, that's how Superman should look, in my opinion. Everything in this ish kicked ass from the cover to the last page.

I loved it.

My very minor complaint about Gary Frank's art is that he needs to lay off some of the line-work in people's faces, as everybody looks like they're in their mid-forties to me.

I thought h had just enough Christopher Reeve Clarks face, but yeah I hear you on the lines making them look older.

I am guessing from this issue that Mark Waids Superman origin is effectively not in continuity. He seems to have brought us back to old school dork Clark.

And we now have 3 Legion futures running around right ? The one that Clark grew up with, The one that Supergirl hung out with, and the one that Inpulses cousins is from ?

weird, I felt the opposite way. I loved how he gave the faces character and his expression are perfect. I'm not a fan of DC, but i really enjoyed this.

This is exactly what I hope for in a comic. Great art, fun, action, lots of heart, all that good stuff.

This was awesome, I'm really glad to see the pre-COIE/ZH Legion back.

This one surprised me, it was actually thoroughly engaging, and the dialogue was some of the strongest I've read from Johns in the longest time. And the fantastic Gary Frank art didn't hurt one damn bit. From the ones that I've read, this is easily the strongest post-Infinite Crisis issue of Action yet. I wasn't so big on the Legion-centric JLA/JSA crossover, but their appearance here really worked. Intriguing and engaging story, strong dialogue, great art, and a really nice last page cliffhanger.

That's not who they are, though. Close, but not quite.

It's all building to next year's Anniversary, though. Expect this team to get a book then.

My only problem with all this is it's really killing any momentum the threeboot had left-- and I kinda like that version.
