Ultimate X-Men is one of those title that I always go back and forth on, and I'm never sure if I want to stick with. But lately Yanick Paquette's art has been really great, and has been elevating the series, I think. What else has he done?

He drew the T&A fest Seven Soldier: Bulleteer about two years ago.

I agree, he's very talented! He's also done a great Seven Soldiers mini, Bulleteer.

Did both Terra Obscura minis for America's Best/Wildstorm. They were pretty fun books, too, plot by Alan Moore, scripts by Peter Hogan.

I liked almost all the minis, but the last issue was an incoherent mess. That was the moment I vomited up the Grant Morrison Kool-Aid.

I met Yanick last weekend in Andenne in Belgium and he told me about his new project for Marvel. But I don't think that that is official already...

It has something to do with an title Bill Sienkiewicz used to draw...

Terra Obscura was a lot of fun. I love Yanick Paquette's stuff, but UXM has been so lame under Kirkman I finally had to drop it. I was hoping to see Paquette on a title I could get excited about, but if I'm interpreting Gerd's hint correctly I may stil be out of luck.

Thank you. I have been lurking around for some time.
I like Yanick's work a lot (he drew a nice monster for me in Andenne).
I'm not quite sure what to make of this new project but let's wait and see...

He's developed a bit of a Kevin Knowlan vibe on his current stuff. Much better than his early work when he was doing Wonder Woman, I think.

Sounds like DD, Elektra, or Black Widow. We know it's neither of the former.....

paquette has been awesome on ultimate x-men....as for his title it could be moon knight.....or possibly the rumored new NEW MUTants title launching out of Messiah complex that takes the place of new x-men

Hm. New Mutants might be interesting depending on the writer. I was thinking Moon Knight which I lost interest in after a couple of issues despite the awesomeness of Finch.

Why can't Ultimate X-Men keep a writer/artist team for more than half an issue? Agggh

I'm also not sure what marvel has let filter out yet but...
I'm starting indeed a new monthly, ender Nick Lowe and Axel alonzo, The writer names start with M and i'm totally looking foward to it. It's more a bunch of characters type book.
