Well...I was going to announce it on Sunday until YOU totally wrecked it for me! Anyway, I'm going to put up a prelim for the Elektra/Skrull Wizard magazine cover since anything with Skrulls is so dang hot. Since you guys are always on my message board keeping me company, I'll let you get the first sneak peek at the art!

This was the original angle I tried to convince Wizard to go with-- I was afraid that her weird-ass Skrull chin was going to look terrible, so you can see i am trying to hide it a bit behind her shoulder. There's a few other distractions in this design, but I won't go into it. Anyway, we eventually agreed on a frontal shot with the chin showing in full glory. The final cover came out awesome, so all's well that ends well.

The problem with being at work, like I am today and yesterday, and have them be slow days, results in me spending $ online. So I got the book (since I had lost mine, but now sure to find it now that I ordered another) and a print of my fave piece.

All so Greg Horn can eat.

....I wish I had the money to spend on something like that. I think both concepts for the cover are awesome and as much as I like the way the final one turned out...that concept art is f'in beautiful!

I have been uber busy so haven't been able to mention this, but Greg did a super sketch of the Black Cat for me in his art book after I won it on Ebay. If anyone sees an auction for these again, go fer it!
