UPDATE FROM GREG: This thread now contains the UNSCRAMBLED version of the Ms Marvel #22 cover. Read on to see Miss Marvel, Warbird, and Binary in their full womanly glory!
Marvel's December solicits came out this week, and of course that means another Greg Horn Ms. Marvel cover! I really like this one and wonder how it relates to the issue. Wait and see! Looks like we're almost at #25, you started work on that one Greg?

Those are all of Carol's incarnations, right? She has gone by three codenames: Ms. Marvel, Warbird, and Binary...
You got it! I used the Miss Marvel from the 70's, then the current Warbird style costume, and then her cosmic energy form of Binary to make this funky puzzle board. The original Ms Marvel is wearing some naughty booty shorts which I like a lot--what blows me away is Gene Colon invented this character before I was born! Anyway, she is looking pretty hot. I also have this piece of art NOT in puzzle. I'll post the unscrambled version here if somebody begs me real nice like.
Hey guys, there is one little mistake on this piece of art (I've already fixed it, but see if you can find it)

I love the it! :D Awesome piece of work, Greg. :)
As for the 'mistake', the only thing I could see is that some of the panels are flipped to fit with the other pieces, but that just makes sense, so I wouldn't say those are mistakes, although because of the 'flipping' there are several continuity errors present. I would assume, however, that the torso pieces are in their correct positions, flipping either the heads or legs to fit the perspective torsos. In which case, the lightning bolt on Ms. Marvel's costumes is backwards. ;)
Is that it?

Is the Zig-Zag backwards? Non-Puzzle version please?
Is the Zig-Zag backwards? Non-Puzzle version please?
Zig-zag IS backwards (I had to do that to make the figures line up as close as possible) Below is the fixed ziggy....

Sweet! After figuring out that some of the pieces had to be flipped to make it work, I started looking for problems with the costumes. It took a minute, cuz at first I couldn't remember how many stars were on Binary's. Of course, two stars just makes sense, but I didn't think of that in my hurried thoughts. :D
Again, awesome cover Greg! :)

Haha I know, I rarely beg, and if I do, it never works.
But heres some begging:
PLEASE Greg, would it be possible for you to post a 100% close up of the face? (Lame attempt at begging)
I like seeing how painters work in Photoshop when its at the original size. Adam Hughes posted one of his, and it's obvious he uses a mouse and lasso tool, but from afar it looks like it could have been done with a tablet and the brush tool.

You changed her original costume, yeah? Her stomach was never shown in the original costume...or am I wrong? Could you show the source material that you used for the original costume?

There was definitely a bare midriff costume-- check it...

I'm working on my Jenna Jameson cover right now, and I'm trying a new technique for her hair. I'll post that full-size instead.

Aha, yes, you got the midriff right. But did you do the 70's side curl hair right?

Greg, this cover takes me back to when MS. Marvel was a hottie in the 70's. Too Cool. You are one of the best.

It has to be solicited first, and that will be around the 15th of October (usually middle of the month).

Yup-that sounds about right. I should have issue #23 cover completed by Tuesday, and then Marvel usually gets it up on their site by the middle of the month. I can't post until then...and then Spidey616 will probably beat me to it anyway! :mistrust:

Hey! I just realized that on the old skool Ms. Marvel (red), you have it a little wrong. It's not a two piece she wears...there's those red strips that go down her sides to connect to the booty shorts. Sorry...I'm a crazy detail person. But hey, the cup size is about right.

She still has the red sides ( I just made them connect further back on her sides) The old costume's a little obscure so I get to take some creative license with it you know?
