View Full Version : Does anyone remember Axis & Allies?
Man I used to love this game. I recently bought Axis & Allies Europe, and decided to print out the game board as big as possible. Why? So I can pretend I'm Ike...
or Monty.

I like your dining room chairs. My wife and I are shopping for dining room tables and chairs, so it sort of jumped out at me.
What was the question?
Damn it Man!! I'm talking about what just might be the WORLD'S LARGEST Axis & Allies board, and your giving me some mumbo-jumbo about shopping for a dining room!?
>sigh<....this is probably why nobody has played with me yet...
...all that paper gone to waste.

I also have warm memories of global domination. Loading up in Africa with Rommels Deutsches Afrika Korps Organization. Cheaply build tanks galore and before you know it a continent is yours. Although rolling in Asia was always a pain, stupid transports were needed to get to Europe.

I remember it, but never played it...it was like Risk, right?
Scourge, Scourge, Scourge.... Axis and Allies is not at all like RISK. RISK is a game for people born without a brain stem. Axis & Allies has 10 different playing pieces, all with different attack, defense, and movement values! There are infantry, tank divisions, fighters, bombers, subs, aircraft carriers, battle ships, transport ships, factories, and AA guns. The new version also has destroyers and artillery units. ITs da shizzz!
Just between you and me: JUSTICE IS SERVED!

Axis and Allies always required a full night of hanging at your friends and talking trash. Always make sure you invite some newbies and talk trash to get them to make stupid moves. My Brother always took the USA and hung back and watched me destroy GB.
