And since the hardcover just came out today, I reckon you have a few months at least until the softcover. Hell, the Marvel Zombies HC came out over a year ago and still isn't in softcover yet.

Oversized Hardcovers rule, but should be the only Hardcovers published, and after the TPB has already been out.

I'd like this, but let's not kid ourselves. Marvel is making a SHIT TON of money off of the Marvel Zombies HC. There's really no logical reason for them to release a softcover yet, because every new printing of the hardcover sells out.

When the hardcover is of a single trade, Marvel normally goes hardcover, trade. When it collects two or more, then it's normally trade, trade, hardcover.

When it's Marvel Zombies, it's hardcover, hardcover, hardcover, hardcover, hardcover...

(Can't really blame them, though...why stop printing new editions of the hardcover when they keep selling out?)

My hunch is that Zombies/Army will fall more into the normal pattern.

The arc just ended last month. I'm surprised that the HC is out already.

is it a PHC or an OHC? Cause, yeah PHCs do hit pretty soon after an arc finishes.
