because he knew you were too busy to write new issues. He doesn't need to take the blame now. Genius!

When has Marc ever pencilled Manhunter? Aaron Lopresti is an artist, right?

In regards to the return of Manhunter, Jones said that DC is waiting for scripts to come in, so it won't be late when it starts up, and reported that writer Marc Andreyko is turning them in.

Does this sound strange to anyone else?

Wasnt the last issue of the book out close to or over a year ago? So in all the time that has elapsed, DC hasnt solicted work for this book? I put it that way because I would imagine if Marc Andreyko was commissioned for a script(s) - that is how it works right? - he would have turned one in. Didio has been saying for a long time how this book is going to be coming back, but here we are and there is nothing.

If the book loses money and cant reasonably be expected to carry its own weight, then let us know, dont say its coming back and then have nothing, then turn around and say you are waiting for scripts. Doesnt that sound like they are putting some of the responsibility / blame on the writer?

Yes. DC should clarify this situation.

Manhunter is Back!!

With Michael Gaydos on Art!

http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=150081

The solicitation for the first issue reads:

Los Angeles is Manhunter’s town — so when Kate Spencer learns of the disappearance of hundreds of women along the Mexican border, she’s on the case both as law-breaking D.A. and costumed vigilante.

Meanwhile, Kate’s bloodline tie to the JSA returns to haunt her — and it looks like her sidekick’s most notorious supervillain ex-boss is doing the same to him.

Covers for the series will be illustrated by Liam Sharp.

Look for an interview with Andreyko and Gaydos coming next week here on Newsarama

The muddiness, the unattractive figures, the difficulty following the action on a page...

Wow. The guest star in the issue and Obsidian really got drawn poorly. It dropped the potential quality of the issue to 'oh my god this is so fucking unbelievably good' to 'this is so damn good but it's a shame about the art'.

Who would be your ideal artist for the title?

I liked the first two artists best but my trades are across the room and it's four thirty AM so I can't check their names. I also thought Gaydos was the main fault with the Jessica Jones series. I'm not sure I'd prefer with the whole talent ppol to choose from but I know it wouldn't be anyone too slick. No Dodsons need apply.
