Wii Play gives you another remote.

I got my daughters Warioware. It has a number of minigames and keeps her entertained.

I am getting the Dance Dance Revolution later this month. It comes with the dance pad for $69.

Zelda is always recommended. I do not own this game. My neighbor thinks it is great and his is in his late teens.

Yes. Zelda is amazing, and I am 3 hours into Metroid and LOVING it.

And Wario Ware, Wii Play and Wii Sports are super fun for parties.

Super Paper Mario is great, if you into some RPG aspects. It's not turn based combat, but there is a story and you gain levels and abilities as the game progresses.

There's also Mario Party 8, which is like a board game with mini games.

But yeah, like Pete said, Galaxy is going to trump them all.

I'm at the final boss of Metroid, and while the game is a bit short in my opinion, it's the best FPS version of Metroid yet.

Man, I got mine last night and played Wii Sports for about an hour and my arm has been killing me all day. Still lots of fun.

I rented Super Paper Mario last weekend and didn't find it as fun as the previous two. Its an okay game, but I felt got a bit tedious.

I've also heard good things about Warioware, Metroid, Zelda, and Resident Evil 4. Although I haven't gotten a chance to check them out, I've only had my Wii for 5 days. Wii Play is worth it if you don't have the second controller.

I just got mine a few days ago and it's crazy fun. Twilight Princess is hands down the best game I have ever played.
