And among the questions asked we get:

PS: What movie are you most looking forward to (this summer or otherwise)?

The question about 'Marvel Gossip' was one that the interviewer had to know wouldnt be answered, so why bother asking it?

Ditto to 'who is the coolest' question....


No offense to you, Jen, as you can only answer the questions asked...

..but if I were doing that 'interview', I would ask questions about the marvel trade department.

Such as

"is there a certain criteria that needs to be met to decide which books become 'just trades' as opposed to those getting the 'premiere hardcover' treatment?"

"In the case of Oversized HC's, does the book have to reach a certain sales threshold, before it gets this treatment?"

"Any chance of ever seeing reprints of 'The Truth' mini from Kyle Baker (which was referenced in Young Avengers)?"

'What does being a 'marvel trade editor' entail? guide us through a 'typical day' at your job in your position.

etc.

I Have An Interview Tomorrow

Ironically, I HAD off from work, but the boss I'm hot for asked me to change days with her, I take her shift tomorrow, she takes mine on Saturday. Okay, so whatever. But I have an interview tomorrow at 10:30. Making the call was IMPOSSIBLE. Man, that was brutal. I can't believe I didn't get hung up on. But he seems like an okay guy. It's for a rehab technician. So mostly the job involves wheeling around the patients, filing things, keeping track of there papers and health things, etc. God, I hope this goes well.


Well, I didn't have it. The night before I wasn't able to sleep. I had the interview at 10:30, and he said I had to fill out paperwork, so that would have taken a while. And then I was planning on going straight to work. So I couldn't do all of that on like 34 hours of no sleep. So I called in the morning bright and early, but he wasn't in. They said to call back in an hour, I called back a little later, and he wasn't in. So I talked to somebody, told him, he said he couldn't help me with that and to call back in AN HOUR and talk to him. That would be like 10:15. So I thought you know what, I'll go to sleep now and wake up in a few hours for work. On the plus side, I did hear from somebody on Friday about pretty much the same job so.;)
