Any Other Kenneth Oppel fans?

I recently reread the Silverwing trilogy for the first time in years, just as amazing as I remembered. I finished his more recent book Airborn and have just started reading the sequel. He's billed as a children/young adult's writer, but this stuff is as all-ages as you can get.

I didn't expect to like them as much on a reread, but I did and respected them even more. There continue to be scenes that creep me out from those books.

Did you ever read Firewing? Not as good as the first two and more than a little odd, but still solid.
