Warhawk - PS3

First Impression: A reason to own a PS3. Damn, damn good. A couple more games like this and I'll own more than a Blu-Ray/Upscaler player.

"Budget" title at $39.99 online, or $59.99 with a bluetooth headset (which itself normally retails for $40) at the store. It's crazy goddamn death match and team play that's just as fun in the air as it is on the ground. Bit of a learning curve with the flight controls, but if you slow down for ten seconds and actually read the instructions they put up on the screen, it's a pretty quick turnaround from "gah, I'm retarded, help" to "haha fuck you, buddy! missile lock! diediedie!"

its getting close to that. It seems like you get a ton of free movies with either a hd-dvd drive for xbox or a ps3. i think they give you a coupon for 5 free movies, and also some of the store throw in a couple more to sweeten the deal.

....still not buying a ps3 though.

Only once I sat it on my TV stand. Now it echoes about and irritates me. But it's half as loud as the 360, so it almost seems quiet.

After the Beta closed, I annoyed the living hell out of everyone on Bendis' board about how great this game was gonna be, so I've been championing it for a while. Glad to see so many people agreeing with my initial assessment. And like Costello said, we have a standing Warhawk Wednesdays frag fest from 9-11:30 pm EST (when I'm hosting the server anyway). If you're online between those times on Wednesday, you should look for the Jinxworld server. Depending on how many folks show up, I'll let everyone know ahead of time if it's public or if they'll need a password. Check out the PS3 thread for details about it, as well as standard revelry. :)
