So what happens when you actually press Alt-F4?

I might be a computer dummy, but I'm sure if I pressed that something evil will happen.

clear your cache and then bring the board back up. you'll see it.

Yeah, just clear your cache. In Firefox go to Tools>Clear Private Data and one of the boxes you check should be cache. Then hit ok or whatever it is and you should be good to go.
