Hey Hosers, I joost got back from da great white nuort!
Toronto's Fan Expo was awesome! A LOT bigger than I was expecting-- This was my first time attending the event so everything was a big surprise. Big thanks to the Fan Expo staff who helped everything run smoothly for me. On the way to my hotel, I snapped this cool picture of the CNN tower. Its the tallest structure in the world...but only for another month when the UAE finishes their new tower (Canada's going to have such tower envy when that happens)

The convention takes place almost directly under the tower! As you are descending the escalators you can look up through the glass ceiling and see it looming over you. I wasn't quick enough to get that shot, but here is the tower by nightime....

Then Cobra Commander and Destro came by to grope my ass. It looks like I'm enjoying it, but I'm not :no:

On the last day, I traded my buds at the Previews table for this spectacular Hellboy doll. I had to sell them my soul, but it was totally worth it. At the end of the show, my booth-neighbor (and all-around cool guy) Michael Golden contemplated stealing my Hellboy, but resisted temptation! Anyway, the doll is about 2 feet tall and really impressive.

The Fan Expo's promoter announced his engagement at Saturday's dinner--CONGRATULATIONS AMAN!
On the last day of the convention I pulled a muscle--In fact it hurt SO bad, I think I pulled a bone--that's it! I pulled my bone! Tell everyone! OMG it hurt so bad--I could hardly walk!! I don't think I could have gotten my bags to the hotel by myself this time. Luckily Mr James Armstrong came through with some volunteers to help me out. Thanks so much James!!! After that, I took a cab to the hotel and we almost hit some schmuck walking across the street while talking on his cell phone. Remember: "Look both ways before crossing street"....but especially in the direction of oncoming traffic! :-?
