I've been reading this book for a while and it isn't grabbing me the way I was hoping for. But I'm not necessarily the sharpest knife in the drawer and, quite frankly, I may just be missing something.

So I'd like to ask anyone who'll respond, what should I be savoring when I read this book.

Carol is always trying to do the right thing. Too many writers overlook this and thus the stars of many books tend not to be heroic. I like that Carol is old school in her strive to be the best while still being protrayed as a modern woman of her times.
