How are sales? Is it going to keep coming?
Come to think of it, how do we ever know when a comic is in danger of being canceled (like we do with TV shows)?

Sales have been good--several of the last few issues have sold out.

And generally we do have a good idea when comics are in danger of cancellation, due to the sales figures that get released. There are generally rumours floating around for months.

Where does one go for said numbers? What's a GOOD number for a book, anyway? I guess even the smallest amount of research would find this information for me, but...posting here qualifies as the smallest amount of research for me, so...yeah.

Book is fine. Sales are good. Currently wrapping up year two of scripts and plotting the loose form of year three. I love it, Marvel seems happy, and I don't think anything is going anywhere anytime soon.

The numbers you see online are close to reality insofar as placement (i.e. this book sold more than that book, but less than the other book), but the numbers are mostly guesses based on Diamond orders since the real numbers for Marvel & DC don't get released (even to a lot of the creators themselves - like me).

I also should admit that I'm very particular about the art -- if I don't like the art, I'll stop reading, even if I like the writer (*cough* New Avengers *cough*). I hope the artist is here to stay, too.

I just noticed looking at the latest issue the other day that he doesn't draw Ms. Marvel in heels, which is awesome. I hear enough complaints from women in real life about wearing them doing normal activities...fighting crime in anything like that (much less 4-inch stilleto jobs artists put 'em in) always seemed ridiculous.

Since I don't want to flood the board with new topics, I'll piggy back with this one: I am a relatively new fan of Ms. Marvel, but now I feel like I'm a big fan! I really like your series (as well as seeing her in other books as well). I just picked up "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" and was excited to see her as a playable character, and it's because of the fun that you've put into this title.

Glad to hear it's going well, and glad you are enjoying doing it, 'cause I don't want you leavin' Carol any time soon.

Any chance you have any pull in getting a Ms. Marvel "Marvel Super Squad" figure made by Hasbro? :D
