Cause I tend to do that anytime a new Judd Apatow movie pops up.

I can't think of another shows whose opening title sequence alone does such a complete job of establishing the main characters.

I just finished Undeclared.

These shows bring me joy.

I just watched Undeclared for the first time through a couple weeks ago. I think I might actually prefer it.

The opening titles are some of the best I've seen. Perfectly realized.

And Freaks and Geeks is an amazing show. One of the best DVD discoveries (and purchases) I've ever made. I'm due for a rewatch soon, myself.

Wow. Mark Brazill is kind of a dick. I'm glad that I never liked that 70's show.

Wow, I think this is the first time I've noticed Rashida Jones in "Kim Kelly is my Friend."

Yeah, I caught that as well when I rewatched it earlier this summer. Also her appearance in the first episode of Stella.

STELLA was the first time I really noticed her, so when she joined THE OFFICE, she was "that girl from the one episode of STELLA."

I'm thinking of dropping $90 on this and Undeclared from Amazon

That sounds a bit expensive. You'd probably save yourself a hunk of change if you wait until November for DeepDiscount's next 20% sale.

i never caught this when it started, never heard of it on tv. Heard so many good things about it, just not willing to shell out like 50+ bucks for it.

At least, give the first disc a try if you're interested.

That's just going to lead to him spending more money: He'll pay to rent the DVDs, realize how damn good the show is, and then end up buying the set.

Yeah, as much of an Apatow whore as I am I'm amazed I haven't seen it yet either. One of these days.

According to Amazon the list price on Freaks and Geeks is $69.99 and Undeclared is $49.98 and they're offering both of them for $90.98. I will check out Deep Discount and see what they have to offer, though.

Freaks and Geeks is $45.99 according to that link and Undeclared is the same price here:

It's odd, because buying them both together for $90 you actually only save two cents. :-?

I know. I was talking about the list price because some other poster said that $90 for both of them sounded high. I think it did end up being cheaper @ Deep Discount by like $10, maybe more. Thanks, though.

Currently $72.35 for the two at DeepDiscount. Assuming the price doesn't go up before they do their next big sale, you could get both for $57.88 out the door.
