I think I'll have both! It's a Wizard show, which means that I'll have a spot in Artist's Alley to handle commissioned sketches and then I'll run back and forth to the Wizard or DC booth to do free sketches and signings. It'll be good to see Texas again. :)

Hey, I am nobody special either. We can be friends. I am thinking about taking off that Friday and flying down after work on Thursday. I will probably come back sat evening. I will be hanging around with Supajoe from the board since he and I are pretty good friends. He will be at the Viper Booth for most of the time. If you want, we can meet up there and cruise the con floor some like the nobodies were are. Maybe harass EVS a little.

Also, that area is where I grew up so I can take us so some decent food joints. I know a couple that are pretty good that are not very far from the convention center.

Hi Ethan, I was wondering if you or any of the others could answer a question for me.

I'm making a four hour drive down to Wizard World Texas and this is the very first time I've been to one of these. I keep hearing about Wizard, Marvel and DC booths where people do free sketches. Are these booths open to the public or do you need a special ticket to access them? I love your work and would love a sketch, but my budget is pretty tight and if you are doing free quick sketches I would love to have one. You and Silvestri are the main reasons I'm driving down.

Also, do the artists have scheduled times that they are at these booths or is it just luck of the draw? I'd hate to be goofing off somewhere and miss my chance. Thanks for your help and I'll see you in a few weeks!

Almost all of the Wizard signings include free sketches, but you should plan carefully to be among the first in line. I think the signings run an hour or so, and after a while, the Wizard guys come up to me and say, "Psst....cut out the sketches, we have to cap the line." So if you're there in line early, good chance you'll get a free sketch from me, and probably anyone else that is signing there. If not, it's risky!

I have! At my doctor's appointment in April I was up to 249! I'm now at 218 and hope to get down to 210 by the end of the year with an ultimate goal of 185.
