So for those of you that don't know, last month Leslie and I got married. She posts as uberleslie on the board, but only once every five years or so. Anyway, for my wedding gift she actually commissioned a piece by none other then Alex Maleev! Check it out!

I jsut got back from the frame shop with it. It took 2 effing weeks! It only lasted like 2 minutes in the house until it got hung.

And all I got her was a diamond necklace. :-?

I went to Michael's. They were having a 50% framing promotion, which is the only time I frame there because they're ridiculously overpriced.

that thing sent shivers down my spine! that is one fucking beautiful piece and you're a lucky lucky bastard!!

(although for me, it would've been DD and Karen Page that would move me the most, but Elektra is one of my fave female characters so I'm torn)
