I love Greg's Wizard covers. My two all time favorites are his comic book film cover and his most recent Elektra Skrull cover. The movie one shows just so much of his comic wit and artistic talent, that it always puts a smile on my face.

but my favorite character Greg's drawn for has got to be She-Hulk (no offense Elektra fans!). my favorite Greg Horn cover is for Issue #10 "I married a Man-Wolf" partially because of the B-movie poster reference and partially because it was the first work of Greg's I ever saw.

Putting Elektra and Skrull in the same sentance is like drinking the Milk of The Beast.....
Sorry, as much as I love Greg, I can't support this Skrull mess.....
It's not his fault though, we know who's fault it is......

ugh! That show really bugs me. Lazy Town... I want the hero guy to get hit by a bullet train-- he's got waaay too much energy... and all the puppets are disgusting looking-- their mouths don't even move when they talk. That show REALLY bugs me!

I have liked most of Greg's work over the years (Elektra, Emma Frost, for example), but the She-Hulk cover gets me every time. It is a great mix of artistic sexiness and B-Movie Cheese. The combination just works really well.

Emma sitting on the stone bench in the garden and the quick emma sketch he did for me @ Megacon. Too tired to post pics right now sorry.

i hope that you've only seen "Lazy Town" through your kids or through randomly surfing the channels. Or is Nick Jr. one of your favorite channels? I think I sense a future Greg Horn thread....Greg Horn collects barbies and watches Nick Jr.!
aw damn....
I can't win on this board.....:surrend:

This is my first post in these forums, but I've been an avid comic book/fantasy art fan for MANY years, and I just love your work, Greg. Yours is among many artists' sites I check often for new stuff, and I figured what better way to start my stay here than by paying homage to one of my favorites. :D

I loved reading the description of your idea behind this one. Gave me a good chuckle. ;)
Welcome to the boards, Aspy! Thanks for posting these images everybody. I thought I'd come on here and give ya my personal favorites:
"The Big Picture" for Wizard magazine. I really love this piece--all the elements came together so perfectly on it, and the composition works great. But most of all, I love this one a lot because everyone else loves it!
http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u231/greg-23/FORUM%20PICS/Wizard-Movie-Opener-editorial.jpg
Then of course there is Elektra #3. Elektra was my first "big break" in comics and i really needed to hit the ball out of the park. I'd say this is a home run!
http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u231/greg-23/FORUM%20PICS/Elektra_3.jpg
Emma Frost was when people REALLY started noticing my covers. I get a lot of guys at shows telling me they still have not read the Emma books and they only bought them for the covers! I can see why-- she is unbelievably freakin' hot!!

Captain America movie poster...

She-Hulk waiting for the bus....

Gandalf-- I painted this in 2 days!

Well, at least he still has his Hustlers, Playboys, and who could forget the Swanks! ;)
Seriously, though, I'd never seen this pic before, and I'd have to say it has been added to my list of favorites. The deep shadows really show the viewer the mood of the scene, and I love how you can still see the details and colors within the shadows. At first glance it appears that the whole piece is bathed in oranges and reds, but after a glance it's easy to see all the other colors that help bring out the image and make it brilliant despite its solemn appearance. Very nice! :)

How does P.E.T.A (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and A.L.F (Animal Liberation Front) feel about what you did to poor Howard the Duck? Do you really want Pamela Anderson beating on your door?

I love that cover for Wizard! With all the recent comic movie successes and next year having Iron Man, Hulk, and the Dark Knight, you think Wizard will want you to do a "cover sequel"?
Any ideas/gags for a "sequel" you been toying around with? Eric Bana Hulk vs. Edward Norton Hulk? Jessica Alba as Sue Richards using her invisibility powers to let someone sitting behind see?

I like how dead on the faces of Garner, Reeves, Keaton, and so on are.
Yeah! I've been thinking about it for awhile now. I was thinking i'll put Daredevil in the scene again with somebody waving their hand in his face (because he can't see the movie anyway!)
