That's right chums, Jenna Jameson has her own comic book now, and you won't have to trudge down to the "porn palace" to get a copy. It will be available through comic stores in December. Virgin Comics contacted me about a week before San Diego Comicon, and asked if I could get this cover ready for the show. They wanted to make their big "Shadow Hunter" announcement on the first day, and needed a good promo image.

How could I resist doing an illustration of the "most downloaded woman on the internet"-- how do they even KNOW this? Anyway, I got to meet her in person and took this fantastic hot sexy Jenna Jameson photo pic (that last line should satisfy the search engines)

Yeah, she was nice...but they only gave me 5 minutes with her >insert joke here< I got in the green room just as she was getting ready to do her big Saturday signing. I told her how the painting was a rush job (I only had about 3 days before SDCC to do it), and how my neighbors Ray and Josh posed as the "Horny Devils" in the background. She thought that was funny. Anyway, she signed my personal print "Greg, Thanks for making me look so beautiful" :Oops:
Was she nice? I like it when famous people are nice.

Yeah, she was nice...but they only gave me 5 minutes with her. I told her how the painting was a rush job (I only had about 3 days before SDCC to do it)...Way to let her know you can do a lot in a short amount of time...;)

Anyway, she signed my personal print "Greg, Thanks for making me look so beautiful" :Oops:Wow. Sounds pretty damn nice.

She definitely looks better in your piece than in real life. But hey, that's how it's suppose to work, right?

Exactly. Whenever I use a personal model for my work, I will paint structural elements or details to their face that I think are the most heroic or most iconically beautiful. The shape of the eyes, the lines of the jaw, etc. But, in the case of Jenna, I had to stick to an established likeness, so everyone will know who it is! In these types of situations, I can only play with the features so much.

Have you met any other famous sexy ladies recently Greg? Or taken pics w/ them for that matter? hahahaha A buddy of mine met Jenna as well & he said her & her husband were really nice.

That is for Adjectiveless Volume 2 Issues #9-13, during which she married Col. John Jameson thereby having her name become Jennifer/Jen Jameson, and thus had to explain to everyone that she wasn't a porn star.

Hmmm, i can't think of any off the top of my head... I've met a few semi-famous people, but i think Jenna is the only person i've met that actually gets "television time". Her husband is one of those ultimate fighter guys-- he could rip off both our faces and eat them in front of us! :scared:
