Hey Greg, I didn't know you wrote a book 2 years ago. "The Art of Greg Horn" hmmmmmmmmm I hope it has pretty pictures. Is it safe to assume you have a copy in your house? What else is included besides your artwork? Interviews, behind-the-scenes stuff, etc?

One of the best books of ALL time!!!!!!!! I carry that book most places I go like a bible. When I tell people Im an aspiring artist & they ask who my main inspiration is, I bust out with The Art of Greg Horn. Lucky for me, I got the hard back cover when it was 1st released. Not only does it contain full pages of his work (some before & after from original sketches to the final digital piece), it has SO MUCH MORE. I still wonder why the angel on the front has a lighter face & a darker body. Bet you do too huh Greg? LOL Funny cuz the original piece doesnt have that.
Yep. It's got some pretty pictures alright! I managed to get Marvel's permission to print some of my Elektra and Emma Frost covers. The tough part was getting the 29 other permissions including the cover image! Anyway the book collects my illustrations from comic books, video games, advertising, and magazine art. At the back I've included some fun features on J.U.D.G.E., my creator owned project from 1999; examples of my pencil sketching and older interior art from ESPers along with some full color stuff for Marvel; Then there is "Chain of Events" which is pretty inspiring for artists--or anyone really. The book also has a tutorial, photos of my models, and a nifty picture of me, Bendis, Mack, and Jim Hudnall from our infamous tour in 1995.

Its one of the BEST books of all artists in the industry past, present, & future. I carry that book around many places like a bible. One of my favorite parts is the side by side comparisons of the sketch to the final digital piece. The huge entertainment buff I am, I could be a promoter for you & Rose McGowan hahahaha.
Hey Stephen! Good to see you on the boards, my friend.
I first met Stephen, who is a budding art student, at Wizard World Texas. At the show he let me look at a report he did on my art and I made up this news item about it on my website....
"LOCAL KID GETS A+ GRADE
Hey! Stephen Suarez of Houston Texas says I inspired him to attend art school! When the students in his art appreciation class were given an assignment to write a paper on a well known artist, Stephen wisely chose me. He immediately scored an A+! Meanwhile, his fellow students, very stupidly chose to do their reports on Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollack, and some other guy who sucks. They all got F's and some were hung by their testicles from the nearest tree branch for their incredible stupidity. Good job Steve-O"

Post the images here if you'd like Stephen!!
