C.B.... Please tell me you're considering wading into this giant McCarthismistic invisible enemies YOU CAN'T TRUST YOUR NIEGHBOURS mess? I know within the confines of a limited series that you are restrained to reign in your scope, but all you have to do is politely ask Beth to change someone's eye colour Green in one panel... Just one panel, and then screw any resolution if Marvel won't give you an ongoing.

The hole thing stinks of a larger plot to bloodlessly reduce the super human population which means I pick one of the founders as a Skrull. both who appear to be base line human which is just simplicity for this Green Menace to be the delightful Micky since Phil seems to be working throgh some fun mental issues.. Where a Green faced facet of his personality is trying to vie for dominance?

MIcky. Definitely Micky.

lol, if one of them is a Skrull (and don't think I haven't thought about it...), I'm sure it's already been well-plotted out, story-wise. I wouldn't want it to be without resolution if The Loners doesn't get an ongoing... :o

Well, we all did wonder how Julie recovered from being gutted so quickly?

What responsible parent allows their 17 year old daughter to go to Hollywood when they should be massively still embroiled in their education? Stuff just don't add up.

She could've graduated high school. I graduated high school when I was 17. ;)

After high school, college isn't necessarily the next step; and some people take a year off to find themselves or some such. But yeah, maybe her parents aren't as cool with her going out to L.A. as she claims. :blah:

Money would be the issue. She's 17 NOW. How long has she been out in LA? A year? That stuff with the Runaways was a LONG time ago. Is she financially independent? Because that's the usual reason 17 year olds are still putting up with the same crap they had to put up with when they were 14, and it would really be odd for her parents to still be footing the bill. Though, she would make an excellent courier. Wally West did a few jobs in a pinch now and then, but those Russian friends of his made a career out of it.

According to Loners #4, the business with the Runaways was only a few months ago, in the comic book universe.

But I agree, she'd have to have some sort of job to be financially independent... maybe she's struggling more than she lets on.

Julie and Mickey aren't Skrulls... but who's to say there's not a Skrull connection lurking somewhere in Loners? :mistrust:

You are.

A connection? More drones created by Skrull Super-hypnosis? Julie goes into Space all the time and could have... What's your thinking on the kymellian Smartship Friday? Should Power Pack still have unlimited universal airfare? Does this extend to the Loners if it's Julies turn to carpool?

That's a serious piece of Hardware the Initiative or S.H.I.E.L.D. would want to impound and reverse engineer at the first convenience.

I'm still thinking about the idea of the Loners expanding(Why they took money to hunt down the Runaways.). Built on a viral model like AA, then surely all these first generation members are in line to head up their own chapters if they can pass the muster. Or is that pass the mustard? They seem like draft dodging maybe? Where is this imaginary War with Atlantis which tunnel visioned the registration question? But too few of these capes are being talked out of their love of being capes... Cult deprogramming can be fierce.

Oh, Mattie's most definitely not a Skrull... but that doesn't mean she might not have something to do with Skrulls.

Take care,
C.B.

C.B. said it on another set of boards, thought you all (if you haven't already read it), might like to know. :)

In any case, I didn't think C.B. was going to make any of the skrulls (although, if there was going to be a skrull, I'd put my money on Julie -- oh well, lol), but it's interesting that it's being hinted that there MAY be some sort of Skrull Invasion tie-in. ;)

EDIT: But of course, as usual, this is saying something while really saying nothing at all, lol. ;D

6 degrees of separation connect everyone on Earth... How many degree's of separation connect everyone in the universe? 8?
