Do you think he could fit me into his schedule to fix my car?

On a side note, I never ever realized that Thor from Adventures in Babysitting was freaking Vincent D'nofrio.

Tell me about it. I don't know of any other actor from movies that are over a decade old that isn't 'that guy' more than Detective Goren.
Adventures in Babysitting, The Cell (also starring Vince Vaughn(!)), Men In Black, Full Metal Jacket of course...

Fookin' A!
I love the build up to that panel, too. Something like a nine-panel grid of a little frog desperately trying to shoulder Thor's hammer, then lift it, as a tide of threatening rats swarms ever closer. God damn did Simonson draw the hell out of that struggling little frog.

Are those taken from The 13th Warrior? Damnit, now I want to go rent that sucker. :-x
Admiteddly, He's very Thor-like in that flick.
'Lo, there do I see my father. 'Lo, there do I see my mother, and my sisters, and my brothers. 'Lo, there do I see the line of my people back to the beginning. 'Lo, they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them. In the halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live forever.

I think the eventual Thor movie will be hard to pull off on screen. I hope it comes off as cool as Lord of the Rings.

I assume they're all from 13th Warrior, but I'm not a hunnert percent. Looking at IMDB I see he was once on the Highlander TV show and maybe he's been in other fantasy fare too.
13th Warrior was a not-bad flick that I might should pick up on DVD to go in my guilty pleasure pile. Love the Jerry Goldsmith soundtrack too. I think my biggest disappointment with it was that it wasn't the book. I really got a kick out of Eaters of the Dead, but its main conceit - that it was an actual found, Arabic manuscript - is obviously something you can't replicate in film.

Also, he played Orson Welles in Ed Wood. Though he was dubbed over by the guy who voiced Welles in The Critic (who was also Brain from Pinky and the Brain)
