...but I'm facing down some serious deadlines right now.
A LOT of deadlines.

My usual monthly workload is 2 plots and 2 scripts.

This month I've wrapped up 3 plots and 2 scripts/co-scripts.
A script is due today.
I'm currently juggling 2 plots and a script on top of that.
I have an additional plot due on July 9th.
And there's a plot that's been in the drawer that I'd like to do a small re-write on (very small) before the artist starts drawing it.

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE my job. Writing comics is the coolest thing in the world! And right NOW I've got to give it my total focus.

Thank you SO much for your interest, support, and early birthday wishes!
I hope to be comfortably managing this workload SOON (I REALLY need to learn how to write FASTER!). And, no, I still haven't seen FF2 yet. :)

It'd be great to talk with you guys! Anybody going to the San Diego show? Maybe I'll see you there? Who knows?

Until then...

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the continued support!

You don't have to tell us that! But thanks all the same

Not that you need to do that, but thanks for that Dan.

I know this is probably something you have heard a million times, and you probably can't even afford the time to read it again, but would switching from Marvel Style to full script style speed you up since you would only agonise over it once?

like everyone's said, no problem Dan-O!

wish I could attend the SDCC, but at least hearing about all your script due dates is a good sign for fans that there's more of Slott in the year to come. hope to see you once more before the year ends. perhaps another big apple con? january perhaps hmmmmmmmmm?

and as to FF2, please, oh please don't waste your time and money on something you can watch on cable next year. i don't care what other people may think, Fox's FF movies are not that great.

Best of luck, Dan!

Sometimes the best work is done under pressure though. I'm one of those people.
