It was so good!
Ethan draws the best aliens around. How many different species were in this book? Tons! And best Cyborg Superman too.
Wonderful book!

Moved 85 copies in an afternoon and could have done with more. I think I got a re-order in at the last second with DC.
That was $8 worth of comic for $4.99. Excellent. It feels good to say things like that about DC again.

Is that Daphne Rosen in your sig?
And on topic...this is the best book i've read from DC in a while. The art was AMAZING Ethan, the splash page with the aliens was incredible..as were the splash pages with Sinestro and Kyle. And of course the writing was top notch, with so many new developments it was very exciting. I liked it so much I even went back to my LCS today to buy another copy. The first one I got had a ding on the corner so I can use that as a reader's copy and now I have a "mint" copy. Maybe i'll even get it slabbed if it looks nice enough. Anyway, a phenomenal book Ethan, hopefully I see you at a summer con soon so I can get this baby signed!

Wow, great! And I wasn't even in your store signing them. Thanks for that, Lord J.

Thanks! Nope, the new Oath was pure Geoff Johns. The only story point that I came up with was Sinestro's scar. Geoff worked his ass off on the script, and it shows. Read it again, more carefully. You'll find lots of hidden clues.

Man, with the kind of traffic I have I could have moved double that in the same afternoon and still sell out early if you had been there signing. Hmm....

The biggest moment for me was:
Sinestro killed Kyle's MOM??????? That is just so evil and makes perfect sense. Damn!

Did he do that or just threaten to?
I am not a big DC person and don't know jack about GL, but I enjoyed this comic for the most part. I enjoyed the art more than anything else. It was just amazing to look at Ethan. Give yourself a pat on the back.
Remember that Batman head pic you did for my friend? I told him to hide it, because after reading this comic I threatened to take it back from him. ;)
I can't wait to see more of your future comics.

Hey Ethan,
Just wanted to say that the Sinestro Special is, in my opinion, the best work you've ever done. Very impressive.

And the freakin Anti-Monitor...OMG that was awesome.
As always Ethan's art was fantastic.

It was pretty excellent. I really enjoyed all the different Sinestro Corps members. I want a special stand-alone issue for the headless elephant, the guy with the cage of babies/kids on his back, the conjoined twin looking one (is one of the halves dead?), and the guy who looks like someone's high school driving instructor. All in all, outstanding work.

I must admit, that when I saw the solicitation for Sinestro Corps #1 I passed on it immediately because of the price tag, but a friend let me read it and I was blown away, so I went out and got my own. Great work, Ethan, and thanks again for coming to Knoxville for AdventureCon this past June.

Saw this at my LCS today. I've got to say the art kicks ass.
Ethan, you may be becoming my favorite DC artist. Well done.
