Easy Cats :D
I just finished watching Huff and really enjoyed it.
I thought Paget Brewster was funny in Andy Richter Controls The Universe but here, she really show's a lot of depth.
And I liked how Huff's consciounce manifested itself.
I thought the show was very much in tone with Six Feet Under, which I recent stumbled on and think is fantastic.
What's everyone think of both show's :???:

Hey, K.
I think Six Feet Under is worlds beyond Huff. For the record, the final season begins Monday, June 6, at 9 pm.

Yeah, Six Feet Under was definately better.
So there ending it with five season's. That's a shame, but good in the respect that it goes out good, rather than meandering along and spoiling what had come before.
Thanks for the info man :D
Hopefully it'll make it over here soon.

Hey, K.
How many seasons have you had the opportunity to watch, so far?

I've only seen the first, but was completely enthralled. I have the second boxset too.
I'm waiting for the third to come down a little in price, then I'm going to watch them all back to back.
they've jus shown the fourth season on Cable over here, but I didn't know about the show until midway through.
They should show it soon on normal TV though, so I'll catch it then.

That's real good to here man, thanks :D
What are the right hand shows in your signiture, by the way :?
And is that Melik Phiefer in the bottom one :?

Hahaha...I assume you mean Mekhi Phiefer? No, that's not him.
On the upper left we have Deadwood.
Lower left is, of course, The Sopranos.
Upper right is something you'd rather watch than be: Six Feet Under.
On the lower right is the finest cop--err, Baltimore--shows ever, The Wire. And no, that's Idris Elba, along with Sonja Sohn and Dominic West.

I didn't even reconise any of those Six feet Under cats lol
I've only caught bits of The Wire, but thought it was good. So its on my DVD rental list.

Really? Those are the main characters of Six Feet Under, just a little older... :D
There have been 3 seasons of The Wire. 2 of them are available on DVD. If you lived in the States I'd be able to send you Season 3 on VHS Tapes, but you don't, and we have different VHS region signals, I believe.
These are probably the four best shows the TV has ever produced. There--I said it. ;-)

Yeah, I'm used to them being younger lol
I don't think the policeman (was it Michael) had a beard in season 1.
The Wires only just aired and come out on DVD here. I think season 2 is airing later in the year.
Yeah, you have NCTS tapes I think and we use a PAL system. Thanks though man :)
What's happening with Deadwood, is it getting a second run :?
I did think that The Soprano's did take a sharp decline for the last two seasons I think. But when it started, definate fire.

The policeman is Keith. Michael's his boyfriend.
It's actually The Wire. Just one... :)
Over here, the season finale of Deadwood season two is coming on in two minutes. This season's dialogue is exactly like all of those soliloquys from the first season. Incredible stuff. It's already been renewed for a third season.
Did you get The Sopranos season five already?

There hadn't been any word over here that Deadwood had a second season. That's gonna be real interesting.
I didn't watch all of season 1, so I'll have to rent it. But it was great that it was so gully.
Yeah, season five of Soprano's came, early in the year or late last year. There was a few good moments, but it did feel somewhat empty.

I'm actually taping Deadwood to watch around ten. Honestly, this season's gotten to the point where every single word has such meaning behind it, it's ridiculous and we're not worthy. Heh. But seriously--Shakespeare for a new millenium, I kid you not. I envy you that you have this to look forward to. :)
I'm not sure if I agree about season five of The Sopranos. The third season, I think, was the weakest of them all. Jackie Aprile, Jr. as season-long difficulty didn't really hold my interest. On the other hand, I think the show's been improving ever since, and the "Whoever Did This" episode of season four, with Ralphie's beheading, was pretty incredible. Season Five, save a couple slow ones, was excellent, I'd say. Tons of deep character progression on all fronts, and the perfect ending.

Deadwood really got me interested again in westerns :D
I can't remember Ralphie's beheading, but I thought one of the really good episodes was when Chris' girlfriend told him she was a narc, then what happend to her :D

Deadwood shits on them both.

This I can pretty much get behind. Deadwood may end up being better than Six Feet Under...but we'll have to see 5 seasons of Deadwood to fairly decide that.
K, that episode was #64: Long Term Parking. As it happens, I know the titles of all of these shows' episodes. Either way, it was a fucking fantastic episode, I remember the NY conflict was resolved then, as well as Tony and Carmela's decision to get back together. Surely a stellar example of an episode of The Sopranos.
Simi, where's The Wire love?

That was a great episode, but some of the others from that season, I thought fell kinda flat.
The whole thing with Meadow's boyfriend seemed lacking and the incident where he found that guy was gay, felt really tacked on.
Being able to remember the name of all those episodes is real impressive :D

I was going to watch it but lost track of it somewhere and it started without me knowing. 5 weeks into when I realised so I just didn't bother. Heard some good stuff about it and will watch it if the first season is reapeated somwhere and I don't miss it again.

It's available on DVD--just rent the DVD's. Again, were you not an Englishman, I'd be able to send you the proper VHS tapes. :)
K, thanks! It's some bizarre memory skill.

Haven't watched either Six Feet Under or Huff.
I did watch the first season of Deadwood recently and enjoyed it immensely. Ian McShane was especially good. I've the first season of The Wire to watch soon as well, I've seen the first few episodes of TV and was impressed enough to buy it.
