View Full Version : Did anyone see the new Marvel Legends Silver Surfer?

I broke my cardinal rule and went to wal-mart today, and I saw this on an endcap. I need this figure so bad! If I hadn't already been picking up a ton of transformers, I would have bought it. Its got a full sized surfboard, ridiculous articulation, and best of all, IT LOOKS LIKE ITS DRAWN BY KIRBY! I'm pretty sure its a reissue from an old wave (5, I think), but it still looks great.

it is a reissue of the old one, but it doesn't have Howard the Duck and as such is inferior. :D

It also doesn't have the cool magnetic feet that stick to the surf board like the old one. If you can't find the old one, this is a decent substitute, but I way prefer the Howard the Duck/magnetic version.

My son has the version with magnetic feet, which is fabulous. We stick him to the fridge.

I just wish Howard came with a mini Cigar, but I guess I understand why he didn't.
