I probably won't think of every factor so post your biggest factor.

One reason I posted this is I was thinking about the various sculptors that Bowen uses and I definitely have my favorites and obviously if Randy Bowen sculpts it, it is a must have.

Are there sculptors whose work you will always buy and vice versa?

The first that come to mind whom I'm quite partial to right now are The Shifflet and Kucharek Brothers. I just picked up my Apocalypse statue yesterday.

Character, but that incorporates a lot... kinda. :p

It's more than just the character really, but that's probably the biggest factor for me.

For example, I was incredibly hesitant to get any of the Inhumans because they're not my favorite characters. I'm glad I did in the end, because the detail on them is amazing (especially Gorgon which I believe is the most underrated Bowen Bust avaliable today).

If a Hellstorm or Firestar bust were made though, I'd snap it up in a second without any second thoughts or worry about price, no matter if I liked it or not. A little weird... right?

I'm also a fan of the "obscure" characters. Give me a Red Wolf bust and I'll be in heaven.

Oh, and I was going to say only mini-busts, but the upcoming releases of two... yes, TWO, She-Hulk Full Sizes have shattered the illusion I had set out for myself that I'll only ever get mini-busts. Now that I know I'm going to buy those, I'm also taking another look at the Hawkeye FS and the Doctor Strange FS, both of which I think are breath taking!

Those turned out really well.

I wasn't very happy with the Medusa mini-bust; the pose, not the sculpt. I really wanted something where I could line them up like the Jae Lee cover on his Inhumans run with Paul Jenkins, which if you haven't you should read.

I agree actually. Sorry, should've said the second phase of Inhumans. Love the hair on it, but you're right, it totally just throws of the whole flow of the busts. They'd look that much better had they all been sculpted in the same way.

And I have three issues of that run of Inhumans. I came into it late and they were fairly hot... in other words, expensive, at the time, so I only nabbed issues 1, 4 and 5 I believe.

They're on my wishlist to buy though!

Get the trade, probably wind up cheaper in the long run. Only $25 US for 12 $3 issues.

The sculpt is fine, just wish the pose was more like the other Inhumans or he actually based all the mini-busts on Jae Lee's cover, maybe not the design, but the ability to put them side by side like that.
