I'm thinking about subscribing to one of these two food magazines.
I find Food and Wine more accessible and entertaining, and I'm leaning that way.
Gourmet is really more, literalyl, gourmet.
Anyone have thoughts?

I liked Food & Wine. We had a free subscription after exchanging items at a Williams-Sonoma store. I kept them for recipe ideas.

Cooks Illustrated is my favorite.

Cook's Illustrated. Not flashy like the other two, but you'll learn a hell of lot more practical technique for the kitchen.

I also love their comparison topics. Sometimes it's the best balsamic vinegar, or the best processors or something else for the kitchen.
Those illustrations are all by hand, for the record. Great art!
