It looks terrible but I can't help but be curious about it. Anyone seen it? I wasn't a fan of Stargate until a few years ago so I never watched it when it was on:

I remember watching the first episode, but I never managed to catch the rest. Sort of interesting, and I would definitely buy it on DVD. Can't be any worse than the Stargate novels.

I've never seen any of the Stargate novels, are any of them worth getting?
According to wiki Infinity didn't have any involvement from the stargate producers or writers, so it's not considered canon. Do the novels have involvement from the producers?

There are Stargate novels which continue the movie continuity, and there are SG-1 novels as well. The first batch of SG-1 novels are not that well-liked. Another publisher eventually got the license and put out some better ones. But I don't, as a general rule, read such tie-in stuff because it often comes across as slightly-polished fan-fiction which is contradicted by the actual show eventually anyway.

That intro makes it look like an 80's "Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors' kind of cartoon and not one made only a few years ago. Especially the theme song. wow.

I agree, franchise novels almost always come off like fanfiction. Sometimes it's worth looking at though, if the writers of the show are some of the writers of the novels then they might continue some of thier episodes in the novels. I'm going to dig around the Half Price bookstores, see what I can find :)

 so it doesn't even have novelty value? That's a shame.

The greatest thing that show ever did was end. If that counts :)
I not entirely sure, but I THINK it makes ONE reference to O'Neill and SG1. I was VERY sick when I saw the first episode though, and I was half asleep too so I might just be remembering thinking they should have.
If they did, then that was it's sole, singular and ONLY good moment.
Which means, it was probably all just in my head

The show is really, really bad... and I love Stargate.
If you want a kid's show based off a show or movie check out "Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles" . The show would go from really cool to just plain terrible (mostly Dizzy's fault)... but when it was cool it is very watchable.

I've seen a few episodes of it. The character designs are interesting, but the stories are the typical anti-violence pablum that you usually see on Saturday mornings nowadays. You'll see lots of threats of violence thrown around, but nobody ever really fights or gets hurt.
Not to mention there's no real sense of adventure in the stories either. The stories are all very bland.

Only managed about five minutes. Huge steaming pile of shit. And a craptastic theme song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67E-_SQLVRo

Hah, I didn't know there was an animated spinoff of Stargate.
