Really sweet and fun. A good example of classical storytelling with great acting.
Saw it today as a double feature with Disturbia and was refreshed after the recent onslaught of money subbing in for quality.
Keri Russell is radiant.

I went to see it today, but the theatre was having projection problems. I ended up wasting a good two hours of my day and still didn't even see the movie.

The movie is very Feminist so if anybody here views that as a derogatory term, you're money would probably be better spent elsewhere...
Might I suggest Delta Farce.

Wow, bringing in an unrelated argument to a herefore peaceful thread, followed by an ad hominem jab at your potential opponents' intelligence.
Well done.

The movie is also a bit rough technically but the Writer/Director the great Adrienne Shelly was unfortunately killed during post-production so it wasn't finished to her specifications.
It is a great tribute to her memory though and a sad reminder that she won't be able to make more films.
Also anything that gives BOTH Cheryl Hines and Eddie Jemison work gets an extra star.

It's a good thing that's not the cover of a comic book or it would completely inappropriate and offensive to all audiences.

it would be a boring comic book.
but Keri Russell is AMAZING in this film. Oscar worthy but she won't get a nomination due to various things.

Adrieene Shelly also didn't draw the imaginary comic book which features the sexually implicit photograph of Keri Russell as its cover.

And while I wish I wasn't writing that beneath a giant naked picture of Keri Russell it is still true.

From IMDB:
Shelly's death was first considered a suicide. Days later, a 19-year-old Ecuadorian illegal immigrant and construction worker confessed to slaying the actress, who he left hanging by a bedsheet from a shower rod in the bathroom of her Manhattan office/apartment. She was found by her husband.
She never had a big, popular movie. She did a lot of guest shots on TV dramas. She was best known for her work with Hal Hartley
