Though if I had either of their jobs, the comics wouldn't sell for shit... cause my drawing skills aren't quite so wowing.

Plus I feel bad for the artists who are really trying to make a name for themselves, put in some hard work, and then don't even get to do their own cover for a book.

As a cover image it doesn't work for me. As a simple drawing of Thor it works. Would make a better in-book drawing than a cover, if you know what I mean. To compare to Maleev, since he's beating around this thread and everyone seems to be using him, his interior Daredevil pictures are great, yes, but those covers are something else. There's a real design, atmosphere and aesthetic to them, while Turners is just a very good drawing of the character standing around doing nothing.
