So, I hate AIM and AOL. Always have. Always will.. And with every new version of Aol Instant Messenger, it gets more and more invasive...so much so, that I have gone to great lengths to download and use old dead versions of it. My sister, however, uses the newest version, which features "AIM Today", a spyware loaded webpage with popculture news that opens every time you start AIM. I walked past her computer, and happened to glance at it, only to see...

An image that said "Memorable TV Deaths", superimposed over pictures of Mr. Echo and STARBUCK. So now I know Starbuck dies in season 3. Fuck that. Fuck you, AIM.

use aimpro. it doesn't have the ads. you can turn the aim today website off through options.

I have a version so old it doesn't even have the website thing, but I can't help the fact that it still spoiled Battlestar.

Other stuff happens in the season. It sucks to be spoiled, but I think you'll still like the other surprises.

Those automatic daily news windows are the first things I shut off when I get new IM programs.

I've had Trillian before, I didn't like it. I like each one having their own little quirks and emoticons, instead of them being all smushed together.
