ok, i love my LCS owner again.

When i walked in last week, even though my shop owner knows im low on cash he not only let me have my scarab (he said i could pay him later for it... all my books are paid for a long time ago) BUT BUT BUT....

he gave me something.


see, my shop guy (we joke around and call him abdul-long story) knows that i am a huge mob fan and when he stumbles across something 'old' he'll give it to me instead of it hanging around his shop forever and two days more.

the first two issues of ship of fools.....


and other goodies.

Flaxen: alter ego #1 pencils by mr. bendis and inks by mr.mack-daddy.

:twisted: prob was, i already had that particular issue of flaxen thanks to RangerChic....so........
im giving it to a new Mack fan.

I think perhaps....I may have just spoiled MD's surprise for me this Saturday!!!! *squee* Either that or I'm just really being hopeful!!!! I really do love the comic guy even though I've only met him once. He's a sweetheart though. YAYE for cool comic store owners!!!
