Something I Noticed Whilst Re-Reading Iron-Man #3

Actually, it's regarding the art, so, I guess this is as good a place as any to mention this.

It's just that, in some shots, Tony Stark looks a little like...

... well, Tom Cruise with a beard. Is this intentional, because Cruise has expressed interest in appearing in an Iron Man movie, or just my pop culture saturated mind seeing things that just aren't there?

It's true. However, technically it's only his nose and eyebrows that I took, the rest not so much. But as it happens his nose is the most prominent feature, and even tho' I made Tony's more straight it still comes through as TC.

And BTW, Marvel had nothing to do with that. I often get asked if Marvel told me to make him look like that because of the movie rumours. But no, it was all me (and my wife). And the main reason is not Tom himself but his character in Minority Report, I thought that is what Stark should be like, badass and troubled.
