If you have Netflix or Blockbuster and enjoy horror, rent "Family" and "Pelts".
Family is disturbing, and Pelts has such gruesome death scenes it will make you squirm and whince.

Id say its more bad than good, some eps are great but others suck beyond repair.

Well, I must just be lucky because the two I saw were awesome.

I gave up after the first series. Most of those were misfires. Dante's one in particular. It's "message" was so embarrassing, I almost ran out and registered as a Republican.

Was that the zombie troops?
Well... then... I must have watched the only 2 good ones!!!

Yeah that's the one. Awful. And par for the course for the first season. This excludes the Miike episode, which I didn't see.

I saw that one (the sole one I've seen) after the Village Voice sucked its dick. I should've known better...

There are a couple of decent episodes, but its mostly crap.
It mainly tries to be shocking and gory and make you squirm with some of its scenes.
Imprint, which was the "banned" episode had to be the biggest piece of shit I have ever seen.

I saw one with a woman, trained in survival techniques by her paranoid husband, trying to escape a mutant murderer. It had potential but never took off.

like everyone has said, some are good but lots are bad too. Some of my favorites:
Jennifer
Cigarette Burns
Pelts
Family
Haekels Tale

The one with the really hot girl with the deformed face was cool.

Season 1 KICKS the SHIT out of Season 2.
Family is actually boring and quite lame in comparison to Season 1's Jenifer, Cigarrette Burns and Incident: On and Off a Mountain Road.
Pelts was created mostly as a gore-fest than scary. We Scream was a little more on the psychological scare as was Valerie on the Stairs. The Washingtonians was a great satire that offers a bit of gore.
All in all Season 2 was a terrible follow up to Season 1.
If you want a really creepy eppy try Jenifer.

I watched the one about George Washington being a cannibal, and the cult that protects that secret! It was terrible, but it had some great, comic book cool moments and ideas in it. The Cherry Tree that Washington chopped down was a parable about his love of raping and then eating young virgins!
The acting was poor, but the idea was still pretty cool.

That's the one I saw and I felt the same way about it.

Did you also get the dread that there was going to be a rape scene before it was over? And, when it did show up, it felt shoehorned in at the end? I felt like I was watching a fetish show and not a horror story.

It did feel shoehorned. In fact, I seem to remember the whole pacing of the show being off. At first I thought they were going to do 2 half-hour shows in that hour time slot. I can't remember when I watched it, I just remember that there was a free Showtime preview on DirecTV.

Yes, that's it. I liked it a lot, but then I liked the actor in "Six Feet Under." I'm not objective.
