Also, my answer is Dollhouse.

But that's...not really a bar...so much as a...club...where you get boobies...all up in your face...

BEST!

Wouldn't happen to be a lesbian bar, would it? 'cause that'd just push it out the realm of awesome into the land of perfection.

Theres one in London called The Hung, Drawn and Quartered. It's right by the Tower, so it's very fitting.

The Boar and Finch
The Bird In Hand
Three Sheets

and from "Return of the Native," The Headless Mother.

The Slaughtered Lamb. It was an offshoot of Jeckyll and Hyde in NYC.

Don't know for certain, but I'd imagine they swiped that from An American Werewolf in London. I think even the logo is similar if not exactly the same -- that was always the impression I got walking by the place.

The Tally Ho (gay bar in my town)

Bar-macy was in NYC and was decorated like a pharmacy. But changed and it is now called

Otto's Shrunken Head

I think it is called Red Dogs again.

"Hot Freaks" was great. It lasted like a month in Austin, TX. Very hip, very low key. They never installed a fire escape and got shut down.

Oh in Davie FL there was one the skankiest bars I'd ever been to, called "Sofa King". There were beds and couches for sittting and the waitresses dressed like schol girls and did bodyshots off each other, and yet...not an enjoyable bar at all. The coaches were filty and so were the waitresses. Funny name though, always reminds me of BillyWitchDoctor.com (with one convenient locatations. In Africa).

There's a pretty well known gay bar in Philly called Woody's. My old comic shop (Green Onions) used to be underneath the bar until they moved around the corner.

As for Philly (someone else mentioned it but it may not be the same one) there's Finnegan's Wake.

Other good names are Dirty Frank's , Finn McCool's, Drinker's Tavern and Tattooed Mom's

Fell's Point in Baltimore had some great bar names:
Ale Mary's
Moby Dick's
One-Eyed Mike's
The Horse You Came In On Saloon
The Whistling Oyster

One in the East Village called Dick's.

One of my faves is Barcade -- can't go wrong mixing alcohol and video games.

The two bar names I've come up with for 2 different comic strips:

Hootros Hootros Golly ( titty bar from "The Offenders" )

and

The Nosh Pit ( Jewish bar and eatery from "The Quads" )
