I want all kinds of suggestions here as there are all kinds of BBQ...
I loved Mac's in Charlotte!
The pork in the Memphis airport was incredible!
Although I've never eaten there, I get my sause from Rudy's in Texas. http://rudysbbq.com/
I know the St. Louis boys will have a word or two to get in here...

Ruby's is good for a chain resturaunt (although I prefer Bill Miller's as a chain) but the best sausage I've had is Meyer's Elgin Smokehouse. It's just amazing, and I think you can buy it outside Texas:

As for Brisquette Austin has a few very good little places. Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que, Salt Lick and Sam's Bar-B-Cue are probably the most famous. I like Stubbs BBQ alot but I normally go there for the music, they get some pretty major bands there. Clap Your Hands and Say Yea will be there this month, thinking about going to that one.

If you go to Wizard World Texas, there's a place I could take you to that's a 30 second drive away. No idea what it's called, but we've gone three years in a row.

There's some fantastic barbeque in Texas.

Is this a thread about my favorite food???:ecstatic:
One place that I like alot in Dallas is Baby Back Shak (http://babybackshak.com/). It is kind of in the hood, but it is a nice joint. It is Memphis style BBQ. A coworker of mine took me there and I have been a fan since. I don't want to come off in a bad way, but I have always thought that black folk know how to make food taste great. I don't know what it is, but they have the magic touch.
As far as chains go, I am a personal fan of Dickeys (http://www.dickeys.com/). They have this sauce locally in dfw that is awesome. If you like hot and spicy, you will LOVE it. Great tasting sauce that has a bite to it. They put jalepeno peppers or something in there. Don't worry, they also have regular sauce for you weaklings....
Also as a general rule in Texas, if the place is non-chain and there is wood on the outside and or inside walls and there are stuffed heads hanging, it should be good.

Next time you're in LA, check out Chicago for Ribs on Lincoln near Manchester. The first time I went I had some babyback ribs and they were amazing. The second time I went they weren't quite as good but they were still real yummy. I think it might depend on what chef you get on what day or something. But it's definitely worth checking out.

If you ever find yourself in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Quarter's has the good stuff.
No good BBQ in Norway whatsoever. :(

I just got back from Planet Comic Con in Kansas City and on the way outta town we stopped at "Jack Stacks Barbecue" It was pretty good*. We're adding the con and the BBQ to our 'con rotation'!
*To be honest I didn't load up on food; we were leaving on a 6 hour drive (which ended up being longer due to weather!) and didn't think I should "tank up"!
