Sadly, my bad behavior during that incident made Warren Ellis block me on here.

I went temporarily insane.

I'd forgotten about that.

The worst part was that he asked if he there was a way to block me, and like five people jumped at the chance to show him how.

Traitors! :-x

Dusty as mod for a day would make a great April Fool's joke.

I would shoot everyone in a half mile radius in the face if that happened... And then probably have a smoke before moving out to make it a whole mile...

Oh, come ON. Dusty as a mod for one day would be priceless. And the best part-- not one "the server is busy" message all day.

I remember those threads, but what made John Byrne's name pop up repeatedly like that in the first place?

Around the time Dusty got booted, I saw him posting his usual bullshit all over the Newsarama boards. I registered there just to respond to another one of his "Warren Ellis is a PooPoo Head and he makes poopy comics" threads he started. I confirmed for everyone in the thread that Dusty had a hate-boner for Ellis and explained what went down here. I don't think he posted in the thread after that.

It made me smile inside.

Funny you mention that, 'cause he's posting at CBR now, and he's already pissing off a lot of people there with his arrogant "I am obviously right and you are obviously a spinner and an apologist" bullshit. I can't wait to see how long it'll take for him to get banned there too. :D

He sent Bendis a rather harassing, threatening email. So I banned him.

No, what he did that made him "the most powerful man in comics". I assume it was something to do with John Byrne.

Well, if it's any consolation, he referenced that in his email to Bendis that got him banned. :)

That was it. For a short time Dusty held Bendis tight in his iron grip. And whoever controls The Bendis controls the world!!! Or at least the world of comics.
