I took a shower and had a shave today. Plus, I managed to blag a couple of hours down the pub with some friends. My parents weren't happy about that, but I managed to win them over by saying all I'd be doing there would be what I was doing at home- sitting down.

I had to get out for a couple of hours. It dawned on me today that I'd watched every episode of Top Gear and Street Crime UK in the last four days. I was close to losing it.

Yeah, you gotta get out sometimes. I went to my son's Field Day at school today. Being in the sun, playing soccer and having a popsicle was really refreshing.

The difference is, I've got an injured leg and have been put on total bedrest by my doctors. I held out for five days before I just had to get out of my house for two hours.
