SNL break just had a commercial to go to comcast to see the spidey 3 trailer. I want a trailer for a trailer of a trailer.

FX had a commercial for the Grand Theft Auto IV trailer. It was nothing more than a "IV", a date, and a ticking clock. It ran for a fucking half-hour.

it is pure genius to me, from a business standpoint.
comcast had to pay the spider-people for the rights to the trailer.
then, they spent the money advertising for the trailer.
they make a ton of dough from site traffic.
tons of people see the trailer, at no cost to the spider-people.
free advertising! it's the business model of the 21st century.
win-win-win-win-win.

There were ads on the net this week letting people know the 28 weeks later trailer would be on the hills have eyes 2, and you could go to the site to see a teaser, of the trailer.

I don't really get the point of this. Comcast is not really a product that people can just chose to receive. why should I care that they have an exclusive anything, they don't operate here.
