:(

I wonder if this is why Letterman was "sick" last night?

That's too bad. I was just wondering what happened to him a couple of months ago.

Aw....

does anyone remember when they sent him on a "good will" tour to Tierra Del Fuego down in Soth America? They went down in an RV and he would call in along the way? It was so sad because he didn't want to be on the trip and always sounded so depressed. I think when they got to like Mexico, Dave told him they could come home and he was so relieved.

RIP

FUCK NBC for not letting Calvert keep the name when Dave went to CBS.

Rest in Peace, buddy.

R. I. P. Calvert. Thanks for helping to make the early Letterman shows the best thing on television.

Nah, they were actually planning to do a tribute to Calvert DeForest on last night's show, but with Dave out sick, it's being postponed until he returns.

In 1985 He came to Ill State U when I was in college and did a comedy show with emo phillips.

He was very nice and so pleased at the attention he got.

I have a weird CD that's lounge music and stuff called Calvert DeForest's love album or something. I bought it at dollar general because it was a buck and had the Peter Gunn theme.

Alas, poor Larry Bud. We barely knew ye.
But we sorta did anyway.
RIP it up, Calvert.
