Sigh.
I have been so tied up with school that I haven't read any comics for almost 3 months now.
Sigh.
Anyway, 2 things.
Once again thank you for my prints from WWC last year. I have them hanging up in my dorm. Made a few friends (and now fellow Mack junkies) because of them :)

Thanks to DD and Kabuki, I was the only person in my history of cinema class to know the difference between Kabuki and Yakuza (stupid stupid people. Can't even write in the 3rd person correctly. Sigh).

Being in Devolpment and Pre-production now, we have gotten stuck with a ton of writing of treatments. My creative brain is getting drained. What do you do for some new type of inspiration? Any advice would be helpful.

Hi Tess,

Thanks. I'm glad you are having so much fun in school.
For inspiration and problem solving, a lot of my techniques are put into the current KABUKI: The Alchemy story.
#6 and #7 should give you some good ideas.
I do a certain amount of thinking about the situation. Then I often write a list of potential challenges and several possible solutions to each one.
Then I take my conscious mind of it by doing something else, and write down all the ideas the unconscious mind comes up with.
Then I mix and match with the list so conscious and unconscious mind collaborate

Um Yeah. I hate my History class. I hate the fact that I am paying an obscene amount of money and not learning anything in it. Other than that....
:)

Hmm....intresting. Thanks for answer, I shall try that and hopefully it will be as useful for me as it is for you. Thank you!
